X1M, UN HF IN MINIATURA PER OPERAZIONI QRP

Misura appena 97 x 40 x 155 mm però è tutto ricetrasmettitore HF con una copertura nella bande 80, 40, 20, 15 e 10 mt, per operazioni in SSB e CW in QRP ( 4,5 w di potenza ).
Si chiama X1M è di fabbricazione Cinese e per il momento è in distribuzione negli Stati Uniti d'America, anche se vi è la possibilità di acquistarlo via internet.
Ha 32 coppie di memorie per i due VFO, e nonostante le sue dimensioni ridotte non rinuncia ad un display dettagliato.
nella parte inferiore vi è il connettore per il manipolatore, porta comm ( non è un RS-232 standard, per il quale è necessario un cavo speciale per interfacciarlo al pc ), uscita audio e presa antenna BNC.
Come per qualsiasi altro rtx offre doppio VFO, preamplificatore, RIT, regolazione della velocità del manipolatore, etc...
Le frequenze si cambiano con il dial servendosi dei 5 tasti frontali; dal Menu si cambiano i parametri delle varie funzioni....
Il prezzo dipenderà dal rivenditore ma dovrebbe essere inferiore ai € 300,00

The transmitter is continous up to 30MHz 'in principle', but there are harmonic filters only for the bands 80/40/20/15/10m. For operation outside of these bands a separate (external) low-pass filter is required.
The supply voltage ranges from 9.6V to 14.5V. While receive, the small radio needs only 350mA, in the case of transmission the power consumption goes up to max. 1200mA.
An automatic CW keyer is built in to the X1M. 2x32 memory channels and a backlight simplify the operation not only in portable use. In addition, the controls can be locked against accidental operation.
A built-in CAT interface makes the X1M also suitable for automatic logging and control. The serial interface (9pin Sub-D) on the rear supplies TTL level(!) signals. An optional interface provides a level converter to RS-232 levels. The interface emulates an Icom radio (IC-718) and can therefore be used with almost any logbook program.
The receiver sensitivity is better than 0.45 µV

L'avevo già visto prima di prendere l'817. È sicuramente un apparato da testare! Fateci sapere e buoni DX!

Forse il prossimo mese me ne compro uno, questo mese ho già fatto un po' di spesa.
Mi sono comprato un IC-718 e un Hallicrafters S-40A.
